We’ve lived here for over a year and love the area. The staff is great and maintenance team is quick to respond to maintenance requests.
The only issues we’ve had are package deliveries. The front office does not accept deliveries. There’s an Amazon hub on site but when it’s down, they deliver packages to the door. Whether Amazon packages or deliveries from the post office, I’ve had packages go missing on multiple occasions.
We’d love to renew our lease given a fair renewal price.
I lived here for over 2 years most of which was under COVID lockdown. The staff is extremely helpful, location is perfect (0.5 mile from Alderwood mall) and there are multiple public barks close by. Phoenix park right behind the apartment also has a great trail for biking. Special shout-out to the maintenance staff, they are very prompt, professional and friendly. Particularly, Mr. Edgar.
Only negative is the lease breakage charge. It is almost equivalent to two months rent whether or not enough notice is given. This seems significantly high, although even the move out process was very smooth in my experience.
We have lived here for almost a year. We love the location of Alderwood Heights. It's right by H Mart, our favorite market, Katsu Burger, and close to the Alderwood Mall. The renovated apartments are decently nice, and build quality is okay. Overall, it feels pretty home-y here. Our immediate neighbors are friendly, and the staff and maintenance have always been helpful and kind.
Cons: No AC - you will likely buy your own so make room for that. It's clearly built in the 80s; doesn't stand up to similarly priced newly built apartments. Seems to foster some noisy neighbors. Hot tub has been closed the whole time.
Final thoughts: We would love to renew here given a fair renewal price that makes sense with the market and nearby competitors.
The facility is very nice. The ladies in the office are great and very helpful and the maintenance men are quick to fix any issues and are courteous. I love the valet garbage service. I love my patio area it's where I have my plants and patio furniture, this is where I sit and drink my wine and coffee. I have really enjoyed living here and the convenience of the location.
