Sacred Space

Since May of 1998 this section of the greater forest Preserve has always resonated hey profoundly warm and inviting feeling. To visit the spot may not necessarily give you a religious experience but it is the Journey 2 this Sacred Space that will allow you to fully embrace the power and the serenity of this area. What is great about it is that if you are not an avid hiker there are plenty of trails, one of which is paved and used to be a road, while other trails and directions will lead you into a wilderness where good boots and good gear definitely is necessary. Something for everyone here. Visit in the later months of Summer and early fall to enjoy the many apple trees that line the Stream on the way to the Sacred Space
