Redhot Ranch

The hubby and I were leaving Kingston Mines hungry not that there was no food there we just wanted something else. Plugged food into the GPS and got Redhot Ranch. Read the reviews and made the 5 minute ride. The reviews were great and let me tell you I am here to add to it. Good good good....fresh hot food combined with good service. What a perfect combination. Not to mention the prices are so reasonable. Burger combo under $6...omg!
Yup imma come back and mess with them when I visit the windy city again.

The food was amazing, the free refills on the soft drinks is awesome! Only reason I didn't give a 5-star review was because, they give you the food in wrapped paper! Would it hurt them to give you a food basket or a tray for the food?

This is small but oh so good! Some of the best burgers in the city. You will not be disappointed.

After seeing the RHR double cheeseburger on a list of Chicago's 25 best, I had to check it out. The burger is indeed very tasty, but maybe a bit too salty. The patties are thin so the double is a must. It's a great value with fries for $6.50 including tax on a list where most others were at least twice that price.

Overall the place is pretty basic: cash only, no bathrooms, limited menu. I sat at the counter looking out at Ashland Ave because all the tables were dirty, but a few minutes later someone came out and wiped them all.

Great smash burger...super reasonable price. Fresh not frozen patty. Fries are perfect! Cash only though..come prepared.
