Mi Fogata

Tried this place out for the first time and I gotta tell you it hit the spot. I walked in and the place was empty, I don't know why but it was a nice place well kept and clean also friendly staff. To start they brought chips and salsa and thenI had the Mole Enchiladas dinner which includes a side of refried beans, rice and salad to drink I had a fresh made limeade and it was all very delicious (mole is a bit spicy). I gotta tell you that I almost licked the plate clean. The price was very reasonable I think I spent $15 and actually everything on the menu was reasonably priced. I will definitely be back and hope to see people there. It was a bit sad that I was the only person in there.

What a great gem of a Mexican restaurant. The staff was as great food. Birra tacos , Torta de Carne Asada, Pazole and Tamales.
Definitely on my got to return list.
Big room in back to throw a large party...gonna celebrate my birthday there.

I just ordered a Steak Burrito Dinner (less than $14.00) for pickup. I live nearby and want to watch the 1st Illini football game. I can most certainly recommend this neighborhood restaurant, everything was like clockwork and if you live within walking distance like me, it is heaven sent. 👍👍

The chicken red enchiladas were good.
Also, got two steak tacos which had one Torilla (other Mexican restaurants have two Torillas) anyways the tacos fell apart. Wish they had salsa on the side.... Thank goodness I had some home. When saying hi to the cashier she didn't seem to friendly.
I might give this place another try.
