Amazing shaves! I will not go anywhere else.
This is the crown jewel of barber shops in the North Shore. If you're looking for bells and whistles move on. If you want the best cut from the master of his craft done in an old school way (in the best sense of the word) at a preeminently reasonable cost, this is your shop. I feel at home here. Sheriff Andy Taylor would too. It's just that kind of shop.
Ralph is a good barber and a good man. His price is similar to competition and is a better experience. Generally appointment only, but call to see if he's available.
Ralph has been THE barber for my sons and me for about 20 years. My wife usually comes along just to enjoy the visit. He is a wonderful guy, a fair and honest businessman, a charming story-teller who was great at relating to my boys at every age, and a first-rate barber. We always leave his shop feeling better about the world because it has people like Ralph in it.
Got my hair cut here recently! Felt like taking a journey back in time to what barber shops truly meant in the old days! Ralph, the owner has been cutting hair in this single seat shop for 40+ years!!
Definitely going back again!
