(November 7, 2018, 11:02 am)A nice view from Bode Road. Easy to get to for local nature enthusiasts and ample parking. The lake and surrounding park appears to be well cared for by the town. As part of the forest preserve in the area, there are also several paths for walking and cycling around the lake.
(August 29, 2018, 12:35 pm)Bode lake is one of the most beautiful outdoor areas near my home. Dogs are not allowed off-leash but I always bring my dog on a long one because there's plenty of room to explore if you go on off hours. I've also seen a bunch of people fish there although I have seen no fish LOL.
Weekdays are definitely less busy than weekends. Enjoy your time here and don't rush it because there's plenty of wildlife in Flora and Fauna to see!
(August 15, 2018, 12:22 am)Lots of open space. No shelters. Very small but you feel safe here. Usually enjoyable and quiet. You could run here albeit the short distances
