  Daniel Smith has been my therapist since 2014. He has helped me address years-long issues with depression and anxiety and two major life transitions. His counseling has helped me create a significant improvement in my happiness and quality of life.

  Daniel Smith has been a blessing in my life that I will never be able to thank. He has been able to help me properly cope with the effects of depression and PTSD, while always making me feel supported. By far the best therapist I have ever seen. He takes his sessions and job very seriously to make sure he is doing everything he can do to help.

  I was referred to Smith Associates by my psychiatrist to help me with deep depression. Mainly. Although I wasted some time trying not to see what was in front of me, Dan worked with me and helped me find a place inside where I could be honest with myself and begin changing the things about myself that I realized were stumbling blocks. I have been at this place for several months now. I feel physically better, emotionally calmer, and my relationship with my wife has improved at least twofold.
  These are therapists who know how to help you to understand yourself, and I highly recommend them.

  Robert Smith has been a therapist I have been able to count on for several years! I never imagined when I chose him from my provider list that I would still be going to see him after all this time! He has helped me through so many different crises including marriage, in laws and of a parent. I have reached out many times through email when I am beside myself and need advice and he always helps me through and gives me advice on how best to handle things. I feel beyond grateful to have found someone who has allowed me to see things in a different light. Even now I had a family issue and he made me see that the situation is not nearly as bad as I thought. I have utilized several of his calming methods when I get stressed or find myself in a difficult situation and passed them along to my daughter as well.
  I would highly recommend him for any individual looking for a therapist for themselves or for family counseling. He is a kind and generous person who is truly in this profession because he cares!
