Been fishing here for over 20 years and the fishing is nice... many different area's to fish by the way it's Bass, crappie, bluegills, northern Pike good luck!

Nice place to stop at, fishing has gone down since they drained all the lakes a few years ago. Could use a little cleanup though

The Skokie lagoons are a great escape from the city. Beautiful natural setting the covers miles of interconnected lakes. Bring your kayak / canoe, or rent one for a few hours. Go fishing, or just paddle and enjoy the views. Lots of herons, Kingfishers ducks and geese, Cormorants and other birds. Turtles, frogs, fish ... deer wander on the shore and islands. Well worth the visit for nature lovers.
