  After experiencing maintenance issues with my vehicle, I had to seek out an alternative way to get to-and-from work in the Morton Grove area and the Metra train was it! I had the option to either depart or aboard from Golf Metra Rail Station or Morton Grove Rail Station which both rail stations are within a 1-mile radius to-and-from my destination. My initial visit to this rail station came while running in the neighborhood to get an idea of where it was located. I found it to be a peaceful rail station as like the others, seemingly hidden if you are not familiar with the area, and well-maintained being that it has been open since 1903. The rail station sits diagonally behind Mariano's and directly right behind Reserve at Glenview Apartments to give you an idea where it is located. And if you are driving, the easiest way to get to this rail station is via Overlook Dr, which is right off of Waukegan Rd.
  
  My commute from this rail station was very pleasant! It also gave me an alternative commute to-and-from work in-case I have any other maintenance issues with my vehicle because you cannot plan for a vehicle breakdown, it just happens! Being that I have a feel for this rail station, I will most likely make it one of my main rail stations, plus it gives me the opportunity to visit nearby stores whether enroute to or departing from it.
  
  In closing, I recommend getting familiar with the Metra train because it just may give you an alternative commute as it did for me. If I encouraged you with this review, I also recommend downloading the Ventra application via your iphone or android phone because it will keep you up-to-date on inbound Metra trains. Plus, you can purchase a ticket with the Ventra application if you do not have cash because I have yet to see anyone onsite that sells tickets at any rail station. With all being mentioned I hope this review assists you in any way.
