“I was really pleased with the bone exam I had with Dr. Ptaszek after a fall I had. I was glad to be back at Illinois Bone. Back in 2011, Dr. Greg Poloutsus changed my life when he replaced my right knee, and repaired my left shoulder rotator cuff. I had been suffering from those injuries as a result of a helicopter crash I had in 1987, working on the power lines. For 24 years I suffered with pain and was injected with Cortisone shots and therapy, which didn't seem to help. I never realized that these body parts could be replaced. They were repaired and replaced, and I was amazed and very grateful. I was able to run again, after recovery. Now it looks like the rotator cuff may have to be repaired on my right shoulder, which I am looking forward to. Len Jablon”
