I felt a different kind of feeling, warm, inviting, it's a smaller congregation, but everyone talks to you, I think they're trying to get members. They seem to have a big youth program that favors music and drums...great drum corp! And their praise dancers are the bomb! There's no choir yet but the church is new and they are looking to start a contemporary singing group. There are lots of young adults and ALL the sisters are very attractive. There's not quite as many guys. The preacher gives a very good word and explains it like I've never heard before, it's very challenging and makes you think, mixing it with current events. It seems like Jesus is there looking at you. I like the dress code, the young people dress in spry outfits, but not too worldly.

All the members seem to be in school or working. The school kids meet during the week to practice their music and do school work because they got to keep a 3.0 avg to stay on the drum line or dance or whatever. They also have a music studio where they record and write some of their own songs and stuff. The youth do a lot of things between Sundays like go to the movies, travel to colleges and other states, play basketball, work in the gardens on site; smaller kids go to the air mattress play lands. Some members come from as far away as Chicago, South Holland and Evanston to participate. I've gone a few times and thinking about joining but my schedule is so busy.

The pastor and first lady are for real people and understand that real people got real problems and make mistakes, but they love us and still talk to us. I've seen their prayers really do some powerful stuff, even for me. The Kids and young women will be safe here, and the younger guys will learn how to be good men. I'd give it 5 stars if there were a few more people. The church building is new for them, and they got by one of those real miracles. I can feel God in this place. Looking forward to going back.
