The Local Kitchen & Tap

It was OK. Burger was over-cooked and tasted like a frozen patty. Nachos had very limited amounts of cheese and pork was heated up 2x too many times in the microwave. Pretzels were good, but the cheese was gritty and unappetizing. Should have provided beer cheese instead of Merkts. Overall I would rate this 3 or less stars, but I want to support a new local restaurant so 4 it gets.

Came for brunch on a Saturday! Love love love! I guess the place recently opened up. The staff was all super friendly! I was recommended by the bartender the peach lightening drink and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delish I cannot wait to come back for lunch/dinner to try more items! Super cute place! We sat in the bar area which had great vibes. Plenty of seating for more of an intimate gathering. Good food, good drinks, good people! Can't wait to come back!

We got what our server recommended, the burnt ends & the old fashioned burger. Both were really good. The burnt ends could use a better presentation. We were a bit surprised at how small it was, and how empty the plate looked. Overall, a good experience. Our server, Katie, was very informative and nice.

Burnt ends & bang bang shrimp were amazing!! I enjoyed the Good Morning Schaumburger and it was absolutely delicious. Mimosas were perfectly sweetened and very kind servers. Definitely try the mint dessert!

In town for business and staying at one of the hotels nearby. There are a lot of nearby restaurants but the menu looked really good so we decided to give Local a try.

I got the brisket chili and it was excellent. The Shrimp wrap was also excellent. The service was fantastic and it was a great friendly atmosphere.

I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll back next time I'm in town.
