Dr. Robert H Aki M.D.

This is the day after Dr. Aki took my gall bladder out. The Da Vinci machine worked right and Dr. Aki did a great job. It hurts like a dull ache but am not taking pain killer. I got up normal time and made myself proper french-pressed coffee (like they don't have at the hospital) and answered all my work emails from yesterday when i was out. I am sharing this because this is obviously a great outcome, much better than I expected since I am not in bed or feeling sick weak or bad. Like the other people here said, Dr. Aki is a great explainer there were no surprises other than feeling good. Also he made sure I actually needed this before he did it, he did not live up the usual surgeons reputation that way.

What can I say, I would not be here to write this review if it were not for the skill and caring of Dr. Aki.
After my surgery he was very kind while explaining the challenges I would be facing from here on.
He came in to check with me everyday when he was in the hospital and always had an encouraging word, while be completely honest about my challenges.
I cannot imagine having someone else to take care of me under the conditions in which he quit abruptly found himself facing while I was on the table.
All I can say is everyone deserves a professional like Dr.Aki when they are in dire straits, and need the best.
He is very passionate about his craft and it shows.
I do whole heartedly recommend this man to everyone who has to have surgery of any kind.

I just had gallbladder surgery with Dr Aki using the Da Vinci Robotic Technology. It was pretty easy. I was in and out within a few hours. He is an excellent surgeon! I waited five years to finally have the nerve to have the gallbladder out. Only good thing about the time was that I was able to have the Da Vinci technology. I highly recommend Dr. Aki - he really is the BEST!!!
