“Beautiful and serene. There is a bike and paved trail around the lake. It's about one and a half miles. There is a very small beach area with a little playground for small children. A cute little air conditioned cafe with very clean bathrooms! Leads out to a deck that over looks the lake. Paddle boat rentals are also available. Wheelchair accessible.”

“Recreation pool is huge, 50m x 25y, with room for everyone. 2 diving boards, lap lanes, and shallow play area for the kids, all at the same time. Sundays 9:30-11:30 this pool opens 50 meter lanes for adult swim. There is often debris and leaves on the bottom of the pool, but the water itself is incredibly clear. The park also has a baseball diamond with lights, large playground facilities, tennis courts, walking paths, picnic grass, and a community center. The landscaping is nice enough to bring your favorite person for a walk, including flowers when it's warm.”

“Firstly want to say I've lived here in Mt Prospect for four years now with three children of varying ages and have been very pleased overall with the parks, park district, events and family offerings- this town is GREAT!! Specifically though, I've been inspired to jump on here to say a huge thank you to Heidi in park services for her recent help in securing a permit to use the park near me. I contacted her outside of the two week notice you're supposed to give and she was wonderful- jumped on my request as quickly as she could and helped me throughout with what I needed to provide the district. So thankful for such wonderful caring staff in this town!”
