Llama Llama Ding Dong Yarn Store

Very good selection. Good prices. Enough of each yarn I liked to complete a large project. They even have a nice selection of hand dyed yarn they make themselves.

Lovely ladies/owners. They have their own line of "house-dyed" yarns, beautiful color palettes.

I started crocheting earlier this month and was delighted to stumble across Llama Llama Ding Dong! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She showed me a bunch of yarns, pictures and examples, and invited me to feel all of the textures and samples. She also recommended numerous other yarn stores and events in the area. I walked away with only three skeins of yarn (somehow!), but I'll absolutely be back for more!
Phenomenal customer service, a GORGEOUS selection, a welcoming environment, and more than reasonable prices. I live an hour away, but this is now my go-to shop for yarn.

Very friendly yarn shop in the Chicago burbs. I met and talked with one of the lovely owners who owns the shop with her sister. They have times throughout the week for knitting/crocheting and socializing. I purchased a skein of Malabrigo sock yarn, skeins of Kraemer Yarns Tatamy Tweed DK and several notions. I hope to visit again!!

Llama has been open since December 2018! This was my first time at Llama and I had a great experience! The store is located on 127th & Ridgeland in Palos Heights. Yaz greeted us right away and was very friendly! My friends who were with me said that it was super cute! We would totally go back though and I think I heard Yaz mention something about classes and spinning. They will also be on this year's yarn crawl so be kind and give them a try!
