I called him yesterday around 4pm and asked him about a chip on my windshield and he met me at the place I was getting my windows tinted the next morning at 8am to take a look at my windshield and ensure it was okay to have work done to it. He didn’t charge me for taking a look at my windshield and even came to me. That speaks wonders. “Great service and communication. I would highly recommend them (I worked with Charles) My parked car was rear-ended by a delivery truck trying to make an illegal U-turn. I contacted Tesla Collision, send photos of the damage and they were able to get me a prelim estimate within 1-2 business days which I submitted to the insurance company. I dropped the car off and they provided me with updates Monday Wednesday Friday via text. They arranged for the local enterprise to come pick me up on arrival so I can get my rental car. This particular shop had the earliest availability in the Chicago land area by at least 2-3 weeks. Some Tesla approved collision centers are booked out over 4-5 months. The whole job took about 2.5-3 weeks, which is really good for this car and this climate of supply chain issues. Just as an FYI: some insurances don't work w/ Tesla (as they charge a higher premium for hourly rates). Specifically GEICO doesn't work with them unless the customer wants to pay for the difference out of pocket. They do work well w/ Traveler's.”
