“Two police officers arrived in the scene when my child was receiving CPR and had been for 3-5 minutes - with no success. One of them jumped in and started compressions- without any hesitation. His quick, confident and strong skills revived my child's pulse. They were incredibly sensitive to my situation as they gathered all of the facts about the incident. I'm forever grateful, humbled and impressed by their speed and ability. They responded faster than the ambulance due to proximity and not only eased some of my fear but actually saved my dear child (along with lifeguards and a doctor who happened to be at the pool). One word: HERO.”

They respond quickly when called. Even when the was a domestic situation going on in my parking lot. The officer spoke to both parties in a professional manner and was able to have them move on without any incident. I was afraid they would arrest the young man. Even though the lady was the one hitting and cursing him. The officer was very level head and showed respect to all parties. By the end everyone was able to walk away and live their life. I have not had a bad experience with Lansing PD (let's hope I never will)”
