Hudson Cemetery is a small, old, lovingly-tended burial ground near Malta, Illinois. The family names of those buried here include Hudson, White, Staub, and Holderness, though I haven't been able to read all of the markers. It is approached along a walnut-lined lane planted much more recently than the last interment, which may well have been over a century ago. Most of the markers are marble, and as is frequently the case with old marble tombstones, many are in a rough condition due to the elements. Two of the more-recent burials have even been replaced by modern granite markers.
Blessings to those who honor this place hallowed to the memory of those buried here.
