  We live in DeKalb and it is well worth the drive to Malta. Malta Vet is an old school vet office. The staff is very kind and caring. Scheduling appointments is a snap. They always explain everything on detail. They have made very difficult situations easier because of their compassion and concern. We always recommend Malta Vet to our friends and family. And they charge affordable amounts for shots, wellness checks, and meds.

  No-nonsense pet care at reasonable prices. A little bit of a drive for us, but not too bad at all. Yet another surprisingly nice business in Malta.

  This is a small veterinary hospital. The staff was very nice, and the fur residents were adorable. I live in the boonies, and this was surprisingly close and easy to locate. I was able to get an appointment quickly and at a time that fit my schedule. I would definitely reccomend Malta Veterinary Hospital.

  The staff and vet are very knowledgeable and compassionate. Also the pricing is very affordable. The clinic is set in a very peaceful place.

  We ended up saving a stray Doberman with heartworm. Malta Animal Hospital was awesome on working out a program with us to save this beautiful animal. We dealt with Gail and the doctor. If you go there ask for Gail. She rocks! This is a person absolutely wholoves animals!
  Update three years later. Astro the Doberman is doing fantastic. Love him to death. Sweetest dog I've ever known. I can't thank Malta Animal Hospital enough for saving this beautiful animal.
