My Mechanic

I have been taking my cars to My Mechanic since they opened. It is a local family-owned business. The owner's son Nick runs the garage and Mike the owner has another shop in Elmhurst. Both are very professional and friendly. Every drop off includes a thorough inspection and associated email/text with link to the recommended work that is either regularly scheduled, recommended or critical in nature. My son's car had a bad leak on the driveway, and he was headed to school the next day. It was leaking in a couple places and Nick had the work done in a day ready for my son to head back to school. I highly recommend this facility for both foreign and domestic cars

My car was stalled with a battery issue. I called MyMechanic as they were nearby. They sent someone to jump my car, and I followed them to the shop where they inspected the battery (it was bad) and installed a new one. All of this done in less than an hour of when I called. No charge for the jump. Staff was super friendly. They did a great job.

It was really great to be able to book ahead of time online - I was able to drop off and then got a call with diagnostics (full report!) very quickly! Nick was very responsive and the assessment was fair/reasonable. They were able to fix my brakes in the same day.
