I broke my upper tibia plateau skiing in Tahoe. After returning to Chicago my primary doctor referred me to an Orthopedic Surgeon who looked at my MRI from California and said he used to do surgery this complex but said he is referring me to an outstanding trauma surgeon surgeon that he highly recommended. That Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon was Dr Evan A. Dougherty at Hindsdale Othopaedics. What luck .. the surgery and all appointments, hospital arrangements, etc went flawless in all aspects.. all the staff were exceptional and Dr. Dougherty was not only highly skilled Surgeon but a really cool person as well. I have had no problems with pain and after rehab my leg is stronger and better than before and at 68 years of age my expectations were far more than just met. I personally highly recommend and give thanks to all those at Hindsdale Orthopaedics for my awesome outcome. And especially want to thank Dr. Dougherty for his exceptional skill and personable interaction during my whole medical event process.

The best Orthopedic Surgeon. He explained the process to us in detail, before and after the surgery. He is without a doubt a Professional. He provided us the necessary information for my child's recovery, and without a doubt showed my little son empathy and security. I appreciate his service, kindness and humbleness. He is a Doctor who listens and clears up all doubts. Ten out of ten stars for him 100% recommended.
