Even though we have an amazing pastry shop that gets lots of out of state visits and amazing reviews...my daughter said these are THE BEST DONUTS EVER! “I've been to this station it's building a new one as Iake this review and I will edit it once construction and the stations gains some actual use ...since the current status is just a drop off pick up area one needs to understand this is a community supported station as far as convenient and that means shops ..we have a Starbucks and a local hardware store that has much more than hardware .lots of stuff to grab if your waiting for a train..there are sweets at a shop next to the hardware store cafe. Restaurant and some excellent living quarters to rent and own both houses and condominiums apartment I believe there may even be lofts I saw ..quiet town very nice indeed come for the conversation stay for the life style as it's quite friendly and very rewarding to be here .I am not a resident however I spent many days and a few after dinner hours here on the outdoor sidewalk set up and inside cafe just conversation with friends I have met.. please enjoy yourself and enjoy the new train station next spring or check as itay be done quickly I saw walls going up already taking the place of the old station”

“Going to the library, An important part of growing up here. When I was little (before the place was remodelled) my mom would take us to wander to find, read , and check out books, or sometimes she would go on her own and bring stuff she thought we would like, story times, read to the dogs, movies in the basement in the summer, renting video games, movies, and tv shows, etc, sometimes going upstairs or to the lobby for magazines. We would come home with bags full of books sometimes for school summer reading (if we didn't find what we needed, you'd get redirected Hinsdale or westmont, they are part of the same system) Then it was going (less) with friends upstairs for "big" books, the computers to do schoolwork and games, and meetings at the top room. Now it's just stopping by usually alone to say hi every now and then... But whenever you go whoever you go with, you will find what you need, just renew your library card every year :)”
