Abraxas Woodridge Interventions

My name is Bruce Hostetler and I am currently enrolled in the I. O. P. program at Abraxas Interventions with Catherine. I enjoy our sessions very much. I'm learning a lot and Catherine runs a great group.
I have been in many therapy groups over the years and I'm struggling to be sober and stay sober. I find I'm very fortunate to have this group for support and just wanted it known that Catherine does an excellent job and I really look forward to the group. Out of my gratitude I wanted to say thanks to Abraxas and to the program. I'm getting better.

I have been coming here for about a year. This was my first time seeking treatment and my required therapy time has been completed. I continue to come 2x a month, not because I have to but because I want to. I have learned so much from Steve and connect with him on so many levels.
You are treated like a human being and respected by the organization from the moment you walk through the door.

For anyone seeking help, this is the best place to be.

Life lessons are taught and learned each day, but without guidance you can get lost in your own thoughts. Being lost is the worst thing you can do for yourself. Being here has helped me find the right path to a better, active, enjoyable, healthy and safe way to get to where I need to be.

I am a certified outpatient substance use counselor at Abraxas Interventions in Woodridge, IL. I have worked in this field more than 25 years and have found this team to be most caring and supportive of clients, but also importantly to me, supportive of me to do this job that love and GET to do. My supervisor (outpatient coordinator) and agency director trust me and place all of their confidence in me to be a good steward of my ability and, dare I say, talent to apply my best qualities and strengths while encouraging me when I am challenged. Typically, people tend to write reviews when dissatisfied or angry about their experience. Thus, the one-star reviews.

In the year-and-a-half that I have served at Abraxas, so many clients have expressed their gratitude for the help they've received in their climb to sobriety that haven't found the time to submit a review. These people expressed learning to trust in what they know and most reasonably understand, in their return to trusting core values, rather than trusting in counterfeit remedies to soothe painful wounds from emotional injury that ends up betraying what they know, eventually contributing to problems and more heartache.

I recommend Abraxas Interventions to those in need of help in the process of recovery, and also to addiction and recovery professionals looking for an opportunity to serve those in much need of some help.
