Lisa really helped my husband and I out as total newbies for insurance! As someone who recently got married and has an overwhelming amount of changes in life these past few months- the last thing I wanted to worry about was insurance. Lisa took us under her wing and helped us pick a plan that would protect us and provide for us. She was super helpful at answering our questions and was very responsive! Lisa has been my agent for over 30 years. In that time, I have found her to be prompt, courteous, honest and very knowledgeable of all things in the insurance industry. I have my home, auto, life and umbrella polices with her. Over the years, I have filed several claims. In all cases, it was handled professionally with a prompt pay out. Recently, I had a ding to my car, I called Lisa and the inspector was out the next day and I received a check a couple days thereafter with no hassle. I could not be more thrilled with Lisa Carlson and Country Companies. We use Country Companies for several insurances....home, auto, life and umbrella policy. We have always found Lisa beyond helpful, professional and frankly, just enjoyable to work with.
When our home was damaged by a significant hail storm Country Companies took care of a new roof and several new windows. (Amazingly they covered the windows fully just because the outside casing was very mildly damaged!). The first check they sent us was for the depreciated value of the roof and windows. We received this check even if we decided not to replace the roof or windows. Once the work was done we received complete payment for all that was replaced. We never had a claim before so this system of getting two checks was new to me. So there we were with a completely paid for new roof and wonderful windows! I couldn't have been happier. Then a month ago we had the unfortunate event of a dishwasher leak. Lisa was quick to guide me through all again. Country Companies connected me with their insurance adjuster, then we received estimates for the damage by a local flooring company, and the repair was approved. Although only a few boards need to be replaced, Country Companies is having all the floors which connects to those boards refinished so that all will match perfectly.
Again, we received the depreciation check and once again, Country Companies will pay the full amount once the work is finished. And once again, I am thrilled with this service!
Lastly, I want to mention that I am a "shopper". I shopped around to several insurance agencies when our children were learning to drive for comprehensive insurance which wouldn't be outrageous. Country companies had the best rates. We also have life insurance with Country Companies and again, I believe we have the best rates with them.
Anybody who has worked with Lisa for any amount of time will know that Lisa is not selling insurance just as a business but because she really cares for her clients. The world would truly be a better place if we had more "Lisas" in it!
