“There is nothing about fertility treatment that is "normal" when it comes to having a baby. There's a ton of questions, waiting, seeing, hoping, let downs - all for the ONE moment when it works. For me, that was 2.5 years, and I could not have dreamed up a better staff to work with than the group at FCI. Think about the best doctor you ever visited - how they answered questions you didn't know you had BEFORE you had to ask. That's the entire staff at FCI. This is what they do - every day. Most of the nurses and ultrasound technicians are able to explain what your results or the tests mean, and (in my experience) what the probable next protocol is even before the doctor sees them. That means you are prepped and not left with questions as soon as possible. I have every confidence in this group, their communication collectively, and overall knowledge. Additionally, I can attest that Dr. Uhler is beyond a great doctor. From Day 1 she outlined course of treatment, expectations, allowed for questions, and did that repeatedly as we had to change treatment options. She continuously followed up with me after procedures, and through Day 660 (estimate) when she was congratulating me because we finally have our miracle. When you get into fertility treatments, you don't realize HOW much time you will be spending with your healthcare professionals (it's a lot!). I don't think there's a better group out there, that cares more about their patients than the group at FCI.”
