Our experience was 10 stars. I couldn't be happier. We decided to replace our aging tank water heater (16 years old) for a tankless system at the beginning of 2021. The process from start to finish was made easy thanks to Rich. Everything from our initial hello to the final install was completed with professionalism and kindness. All details (and even project roadblocks) were explained with fantastic communication. Best of all prices were fair with no surprises. I recommend their services to anyone needing jobs big or small. Our hot water heater quit working, and we were getting the classic runaround from our extended service contract rep. Finally, after a week without hot water, it was such a blessing to call Berner Plumbing in the late afternoon and hear Rich say "I can be out tomorrow". He did come out as promised and quickly made the warranty repair that gave us our hot water back. Rich is a professional and a straight-shooter, and we thank him for his help!

Richard from Berner Plumbing is very professional and he was able to replace our tankless water heater in a very timely fashion even though it is the Holiday season.  My wife and I can not thank him and his staff enough.  Very reasonably priced also!!! Thank you for being there and he will see Richard for the servicing of the unit in the future... UPDATE... after 1 year we still love the water heater Richard installed no problems!!

I've used Rich at Berner Plumbing for quite a few jobs. First one was when one of our 2 - 50 gal. water heaters went bust. After thinking of just replacing it, Rich let me know about whole house tankless water heaters and that's the route I went. He removed both giant tanks, put in the wall mounted tankless, rerouted the water pipes and helped me with Nicor Gas to get a bigger flow meter. Everything went without a hitch!! I couldn't be more satisfied with his professionalism and quality of work! Since then he's replaced my shower mixer valve and Flushmaster toilet unit.
Here's the bonus....he has direct contacts with various manufacturers and he was able to get the replacement parts free!! This year will be the 3rd year I'm also using him for my backflow test on my fire sprinkler system because he's prompt, professional, files the paperwork to the Village on time and absolutely knows what he's doing on all jobs I've hired him for.

His prices are mid level to just slightly above, but when it comes to plumbing problems, you get what you pay for. I've hired other plumbers before because they were cheaper and I ended up with shoddy work and more problems after they were finished.
