Private college that allows tourists to check out the view. Check in at guard gate.

The guard at the front gate gave us a laminated map to guide us on a short drive around the campus…so pretty on our Fall visit. On the National Register of Historic Places since 1993. The campus master plan, as well as eleven of its buildings, are important late designs of architect Bernard Maybeck, best known for his influential architecture in the American West.

I dunno how good the school really is, but the steep road from Elsah up to the college is fantastic for bicycling.

Beautiful campus. Wonderful teachers and staff. Academics are challenging, but you’ll be the better for it. The friends you’ll make here will be your friends for life. Visit and see for yourself!! Keep in mind that this is a dry campus so if that’s your thing, there are plenty of other schools to go to.

I absolutely love this place. My favorite place to be! I transferred schools after my Freshman year & there was a major difference in the atmosphere of people. I can’t wait to come back here, especially with my brother. This place has so much to give and it’s truly a blessing everyday to be here for me.
