(December 23, 2021, 3:19 pm)Take the Great River Road to this free ferry run by the Illinois Department of Transportation, for a fun family adventure across the Illinois river. Did I say the ferry is free and runs 24 hours. We even saw a bald eagle fly by and then land in the tree above the landing.
