“I gave this 5 stars. Its a simple campground with showers, and electricity. I I went on a blustery 8 degree night followed by a 40 degree day. I hiked six miles, and it was so much fun. Everything is close by, everyone was friendly, it was absolutely beautiful.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this most charming inn. Innkeepers Connie and Gary are such gracious hosts and welcome their guests with sincerity and kindness. Our room was cozy and exceptionally clean, and the common area where you can sit and relax was likewise cozy with a gas fireplace to add to the ambience. The homemade breakfasts made by Connie are absolutely wonderful! And you will be treated with delicious homemade baked desserts that are served every afternoon. The inn is located in the quaint village of Elsah where you can stroll through the town and visit a few unique shops. Gary gave a tour of the town's museum which we enjoyed very much. We can't say enough good things about this lovely inn, and we definitely plan to return. Thank you Connie and Gary!”
