We recently purchased a face cord of birch from a firewood business in Geneva and were so unhappy. The wood was wet and we were severely shorted. So we tried Mulch/Firewood Inc!
Mike wanted to take the day off seeing as it’s a few days before Christmas. I don’t blame him. But I didn’t realize so I called to see if they were open. He called me back and said they were off, but he offered to deliver a face cord anyway! We purchased hickory which is currently burning away in our fireplace, nice and dry and fragrant. Can’t wait to try some Cherry next time!
This was our first time ordering mulch by the yard and it was great! Their website helped me figure out how much to order, the product was great, the price was good, and the delivery lady was super nice and even let my son dump the mulch in our driveway!
They were also super accommodating with delivery times. Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend Mulch Inc. This season I ordered 4 cubic yards of mulch from another local company. I underestimated how much I would need, so I decided to give Mulch, Inc. a try for the second batch. This time I ordered 3 cubic yards. The second batch was delivered and it was bigger than the first! The mulch we received is high quality, even sized pieces. The delivery driver was polite and careful to watch out for my trees that overhang the driveway. I was able to pay online which is also a huge plus. I feel like we got a great deal with outstanding, professional service. We will definitely be back the next time we need mulch.
