(August 24, 2018, 9:24 am)Another hidden treasures of the City of Elgin. Hidden just East of State Street and Route 20 is a very nice park. It is well maintained with a shelter, volleyball sand, kids playground, concrete "bags" toss ramps, and porta potty. It also has a baseball backstop, grill, and over 15 acres of open grassy field.

(March 7, 2018, 8:04 am)Park is great, people are just leaving garbage behind in the park. Even container is 10 feet away.
(March 4, 2018, 8:20 pm)A lot of parking, more than enough room for the kids to run, playground for 5-12 year olds, shelter with BBQ pit (bring your own charcoal) and tables to hold about 48 people, a walking track, soccer field, baseball field.
