(October 29, 2018, 4:38 pm)I have to say that after staying a a snooty RF park in Michigan this was a breath of fresh air! Chris is an amazing person that stopped by every day in her travels just to say hello. Unfortunately my wife had some complications from a surgery while we were there and I spent a lot of time going back and forth to the hospital. Chris always made it a point to see if there was anything that we needed during that time. We loved the peace and quiet that we found there. The groundskeeper Ed was a super nice guy as well he would stop and chat for few minutes when he was working in our area. These are just good people! We will definitely be going back next season.
(September 6, 2018, 1:50 pm)Thank you Chris for a wonderful stay. Everyone was very friendly, and other than trains in the distance was very peaceful and quiet. I heard the trains when I was outside, not inside my camper and was told this was a train community so I knew what I was getting into. Bath house - restroom needs some attention. Bugs were a little bad at sunset and lots were all grass. Also had an issue, with water hose. Initially worked fine, then about 3-4 days in lost all water pressure. Pulled hose from camper and inlet screen was completed covered with brown foreign substance. Removed and went to purchase filter from Walmart. By the time I returned, screen was about 75% covered again. After installing filter, never had problem again. Was there for about 1 month. When I left, I checked the inlet screen on filter and camper and had no substance - perhaps was in the water hose itself.
(June 15, 2018, 12:08 pm)Such a lovely area with amazing people. Lots of trees, grass, river, fireflies, variety of colorful birds, etc. Relax, recharge, enjoy. I can't wait to be back some day.
(August 14, 2017, 9:14 am)This is a family owned park situated on a 100 acre farm in a beautifully wooded area. Partial hook ups only. But the ability to have a site close to the woods, and nowhere near anyone else. Idyllic setting. No dog park, but there was a HUGE mown meadow near my campsite where my Doberman could run. Wished I could have stayed longer.
