  Brought my truck down from the Twin Cities (6 hours one way) because no mechanic would touch it (except local dealer) unless it was to replace the engine at $5000. BSG Automotive performed a complete timing set and oil pump repair on my 2006 F-150 with about 179,000 miles. Cost was exactly as quoted and much lower than dealer. Work was performed within the time quoted too. Truck runs great! Very professional and honest. I highly recommend BSG Automotive. Currently driven ~1000 miles and through a polar vortex since the repair.

  Definitely worth 2 hours drive. Found problems and quickly fixed my truck. You can tell by talking to him he really is skilled in fixing Fords not just trying to hang parts like local mechanic

  Took our truck to local mechanic with multiple engine codes. Drove 2 hrs for service after seeing his videos. He quickly found problems and repaired. Could not be happier. He really knows his stuff

  I have a 2010 F150 that needed a cam phaser replacement, check engine light on, confirmed by a 2 inch piece of plastic chain tensioner I pulled out, no doubt about it.
  
  The job was outside my comfort zone and I was struggling to find a competent mechanic in my area (Texas).
  I really wanted to keep the truck and knew a engine replacement wasn’t necessary, like I was told to do by three different shops.
  After watching BSG’s videos, I decided to go right to the source for the job. I drove the broke truck 1000 miles to get fixed (properly) by the man himself at BSG.
  
  I cannot be more pleased with the decision to do that. Not only do I have a refreshed/rebuilt engine. I was charged a honest, ethical and fair price. It was performed by the most competent, dedicated, thorough mechanic I have ever seen.
  I was so pleased with what I saw and the impression left by him and crew (wife), I added a bunch of other work that I eventually needed on the truck. It added up in the end, but I knew I would be treated fairly and everything would be torqued properly.
  Also, he replaced the oil pump with a better revision and it made a huge difference. Not a single drop of fluid has hit my driveway since repair 3 plus months ago and my MPG improved dramatically. Perfection!

  In closing, If you are a fellow Ford truck owner in the same situation as I was, and I’m sure there are out there.
  Do not hesitate!!!

  We agree with all the positive comments about BSG Automotive and Brian - WOW! Amazing knowledge, customer service, turn around time, pricing - Brian knows Fords! We want to thank him for the incredible videos he produces. They are the best! Very informative if you want to fix the problem yourself. We feel confident our truck will now run for at least another 100,000 miles or more.
