  Went here for a Cub Scout hike. Trails were well defined and easily traveled. This trail is definitely geared toward mountain biking. There are a large number moderate to difficult off-shoots from the main trail specifically for those who mountain bike. The paths are easily identified with either paint markings on trees or the occasional post. When we went it was not busy but it was after a brief thaw so not many people were biking. Have a feeling that if it were busy there would be an issue with congestion with bikers and hikers on the same path. Overall for us it was an enjoyable hike.

  Great flow considering the roughness of the maze of trails. Very fun rollercoaster-like terrain.

  Review is for the boat launch. It is now an IMPROVED launch. No more gravel. Very close to a parking lot. It's is well marked for inbound boaters. There is not an ADA-EZ dock at this launch. Park is awesome too.

  This is a nice place to hike. I visit there often because it is near my residence. It is particularly a nice place becaure there are very few people at this park when I go there. The gun ranges next door make this a noisy place often.

  Great little forest preserve open to hiking biking and equestrians. The terrain is a rocky technical roller coaster that might be challenging for novice mountain bikers. Once you learn the trails, its a lot of fun!
