(September 10, 2017, 3:15 pm)Clean, quiet, warm waiting area with public restrooms. Announcements about incoming trains both indoors and outdoors. Includes both parking and a drop-off/pick-up area. A bike rack is available, as well.
On the other hand, the NCS line has rather limited service on weekdays, and no service on weekends. There is extensive freight train service on this line, which has the propensity to cause more delays than the MD-N line, which also has service nearby. There are quite a few steps up to track level (and the waiting area) from the parking lot. And this particular station can become briskly cold, with feirce winds in the harsh Chicagoland winters.
