“Had our baby there last week and every single person was phenomenal. The nurses and techs in the L&D unit were amazing and helped provide a great birthing experience. I felt like they were extremely knowledgeable and maintained a calm demeanor when issues started to occur. Our OB is Julie Favia and I cannot begin to express how superb her care is. We were truly blown away by her expertise and knowledge when the delivery started to go south. She demonstrated her knowledge by still providing the birth I wanted and doing everything in her power to avoid a c-section. She also was a great patient advocate by speaking up for us when we wished to go home after 24 hours (we had another kiddo at home, nothing at all against the hospital). The nurses on the maternity unit were just as amazing. We never had to hit the call light for anything, they were continuously checking on me and baby, refilling my water bottle, and asking if I needed anything. Very quiet atmosphere for recovery. All other staff members were extremely nice, I don't have one bad thing to say. Highly recommend.”

“I started seeing Dr. Moreira in the middle of my pregnancy, after seeing Dr. Zimmerman for a short time. He was great, and he found a fantastic person to carry on his practice in Dr. Moreira! This was my second baby and the experience this time around with not only my appointments but my labor and delivery was way better than the first time around at another doctor’s office. She is fantastic! Warm, caring, and makes you feel so comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an OB! Thanks again!”

“Dr. Moreira was my doctor for all three of my pregnancies. Always very well mannered and professional. She always answered all of my questions and reassured me if I was worried too much. I had two c-sections that she performed and she let me trial a third vaginal birth, which was very important to me and not many doctors would do that. I was very happy with the outcome and her faith in me and my body, instead of rushing me into surgery like another doctor wanted to.. I have been a patient for Dr. Moreira for almost 7 years and will miss her as she recently left the practice at Elk Grove Village.”
