(August 25, 2018, 3:46 pm)Friendly helpful staff. Lovely, healthy plant selection. Great fairy garden area with itty bitty plants and accessories. Cool home and garden accent decor too. Love this place! It's fun to visit even if you don't end up buying anything. The whole front area is landscaped with ponds and garden decor.
(April 5, 2018, 4:17 pm)This place is great, and I would recommend it. It has everything that any home gardener, landscaper, or plant enthusiast could want. I have come here many times for my own personal shopping, but what sets Hawthorn Gardens apart for me is when I came here for work. I work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and our vocational / advanced horticulture class scheduled a visit here. Everyone at Hawthorn Gardens was very welcoming and excited to show us around. Matt, one of the managers, lead us on a tour and was respectful, engaging, and kept all of us entertained, while educating the participants on the intricacies of a 'typical' day in a nursery. Bill, the owner, also showed us around and talked with our participants about unique plants and showed us a great time. Everyone had a blast, and this visit excited their love for horticulture even more! I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you Hawthorne Gardens!
