(January 4, 2019, 7:20 pm)Could not find product but comp. showed there were a few in stock. Employees looked all over and there were none on the stock shelves. Others came over to help and shazam there were the boxes on a different area shelf. Thank you long grove people for finding my size coat
(December 5, 2018, 11:58 pm)Menards in Long Grove is by far my favorite home improvement store. The store is always kept clean, even during the resent remodeling. Very friendly and helpful staff with actual material knowledge. Great outdoor lumbar yard and seasonal garden center.
(November 23, 2018, 9:28 am)Always worth the trip. Excellent lumber selection - best in the area. Recently remodeled and very well stocked. Something's always on sale at Menards.

Overall - 4, easy accessible location, ample parking, easy in and out, love drive in lumber yard for volume items
Staff - 4 Friendly, helpful, approachable and willing to answer questions and help find things
Cashiers - 3 Some of them definitely need training, friendliness and be more welcoming. ONLINE SHOPPING is high so cashiers are the last line of defense to leave good impression for shopping
Store - (4) Clean, easy to find things, pricing labeled properly, prices do match at check out, decent space between aisles
NEED IMPROVEMENTS - (2) Please please have restrooms renovated to show This is top notch home improvement store. Take a walk to Home Depot or Lowes. Use materials you are selling.
CASHIERS (3) - Do train them to be more friendly, welcoming and helpful.

(847) 963-0558 Menards is one of my favorite hardware stores to go to when I need to do some home improvement without spending a ton of money. They don't always carry some of the nicer things you find at Home Depot or Lowe's but the price is always very competitive and you can typically find something similar for much less.
