“The Goddard School in Hawthorn Woods is an extension of our family. We have had our two kids there for almost 3 years and I cannot imagine bringing them elsewhere for childcare. Safety and compassion are the two most important things I look for in a childcare setting and Goddard excels in both categories. Everyone who works there, the owners, directors, and teachers, takes the time to get to know each of the families. The teachers really care about the children and are always there to offer a high five or a hug. The staff ensures that their students are both physically, mentally, and emotionally cared for. Communication is open and honest. Above all else, I never have to question my kids' safety at Goddard. I'm thankful everyday that my children have the opportunity to be in such a nurturing environment with amazing caregivers.”

“This is a nice pool for families and kids. There are two body water slides, two diving boards, one swim lap lane, a basic "big" pool that goes from 3-5 feet, and a really nice little kid pool with zero depth entry, small water slides and the pool goes to 3 feet. They sell a good range of concessions, and there are designated eating areas. The staff does try to keep this pool clean and safe. If your child does not meet the height requirement for the slides/diving board, but is a strong swimmer, they can take a swim test to get a wrist band to wear indicating it's ok for them to use the slides.”

“I have only been going for a week, but I am obsessed! The instructors are so kind and helpful throughout the entire class. I love how they are constantly motivating you and correcting your form. The variety of classes are awesome! “Reform” is a killer class due to the resistance aspect and slides. I love every second of it, even when I’m still sore five days later. Overall, awesome! “We had our older child go to Bright Horizon at Kemper lakes and did not had a second thought when it was time for our little one to go to daycare where to send him. The center is so spacious, clean and well taken care off. The teachers are very caring, disciplined and child centered. If not directly but I have some how always felt that my both child got personal attention from teachers in this center. “We can’t put into words how much we love this school and how thankful we are that our daughter has been able to learn, grow, and be loved by all the teachers at primrose. We contribute the happy, fun-loving girl she is to this school and her teachers. As new parents we had all the normal nerves and anxiety about putting our daughter in daycare when it came time to go back to work. I once cried to my husband “what if she cries? Who will take care of her”. We are serious when we tell you that after day 1 all those fears and worries went away. Although our daughter is in a class with other infants she receives all the love, dedication, and attention that we would give her at home. And we can tell you...when she cries, they love on her and do everything they can to make her feel better. We’ve also appreciated all the things we learn from the teachers and the activities we see our daughter doing (for example, the first time we saw her sitting in a chair...happened at school; the first time we saw her painting...happened at school). They do so much for her that as new parents we would have never even had tried or known to do with her had it not been for this school (for example, they tell me when she’s ready for a new nipple size or it’s time to go up in diapers). In other words, they do the heavy lifting while we get to enjoy my cuddle and home time with her because of all the things they do for and with her. Lastly, the tadpole app they use is amazing...it’s great for knowing what your babies nap, eat, and diaper changes are and we love seeing daily pictures of all the fun moments my daughter has with her friends at school. If you’re looking for an amazing school with a great staff (shoutout to Ms. Emily and Ms. Tracey for everything they do!), then this is it.”
