  Hey gang, another great year at The Sanctuary! Hope this one goes as well. I really enjoyed the festivities this year...especially the Halloween and Holiday Brunch which they do every year and it's a great hit....the food is GREAT. I really enjoyed this year and I thank the staff for all of their help and kindness....they make living here so pleasant.
  I have been here for 4 years now and just signed another lease. I love this place...so close to everything and easy for me to get around as a senior...the first floor units are so convenient and it makes it easy for me to do all that I need to do.
  The maintenance staff is always on top of repairs. I call in the morning and they are at my unit before I know it. They are so quick to repair and if something doesn't work or beyond repair they will replace it for you....might take a little time, but they do a great job.
  The only down side for me is that I am a senior with limited handicaps, yet when you get older it's hard to get in and out of a tub without fear of falling and getting hurt. The solution....I would love it if the units had walk-in showers...than I know I could stay here forever.
  I love this place!!!! Highly recommended.

  I am in the U.S. Navy and my wife and I have been living here for about a year and a half and we honestly love it! Even though it might be more than your average wakegan apartment, it’s by far the best value apartment that I’ve come across. All the staff in the office are very helpful, and it’s very convenient for them to be open 7 days a week (except for major holidays). Maintenance requests get responded to and solved in a timely manner, our cat loves the apartment, and they allow you to decorate your porch/patio! Parking can sometimes be frustrating depending on which section you live in, however the management realized this and now require all guests have parking passes, which frees up parking spaces for people who don’t actually live in the apartments or aren’t guests. On top of all that, sometimes they even have free events for their residents to take part in with free food, drinks, and alcohol! Once they had a local brewery come in and that was awesome!! The gym is not the best and doesn’t have everything, but it does have the minimal in order to get a decent workout in. Finally, the pool is a great cool down in summer time and gives you the opportunity to meet some of the neighbors. I highly recommend these apartments no matter age or size of family!
  
  Let me just add that when we applied for this apartment, I was stationed in another country and my wife was still in Texas, most apartments wouldn’t even try to bother with us because we wouldn’t actually move in until the day we drove in, but Felice was very accommodating and understanding of our situation and allowed us to overcome this obstacle without a whole lot of hassle. Although we never saw in person what the apartments looked like we trusted the reviews and were not disappointed.

  I’ve been staying here a short time and have had no issues....I feel safe here and it’s been very peaceful...Felice has been very helpful and informative from the day that I met her.. she’s just Awesome!!! I looked at a LOT of places but The Sanctuary is what felt right... the spacious master bedroom that fit my king size bed helps as well ????!

  Felice was so great!! We originally came looking for a place back in April and she was so gracious and helpful. We were not 100% and looked at a few other places when we decided to come back and give Sanctuary another look a few months later. She immediately welcomed us back and did not hesitate to help us and take us to look around the property again. Finally, after the fourth visit in August we decided to fill out an application and now we happily call Sanctuary home. We love it and love the warm welcome we have always received from Felice.

All of the rooms are huge, even the 2nd bedroom. The bathrooms are about 10 x 8 foot.... Love that!!!
