Great job, after my waterline coming into the house broke, they rerouted it to cut as little of my patio as possible. Left my yard looking as good as possible.
S&K is an experienced professional company that can do both the large and the small jobs.
I have worked with S&K on my main sewer line, new hot water heater, miscellaneous work such as replacing some old pipes that were leaking, new toilets and outside house spigots. They also fully rebuilt my concrete front porch and sidewalk along side of the house (they have the big digging equipment and will do this type of job).
The proprietor sets a high bar when it comes to using quality materials and workmanship standards. The crew is a hardworking, experienced extension of that.
They also do construction (kitchen, bath, etc) so I am assuming good delivery/consultation for other future projects.
This is an excellent outfit and I highly recommend them.
I had S&K put in a clean-out several years ago. Jeff was fantastic to work with. Two other places tried to take advantage of me but I stopped them before they got too much of my money. Jeff explained their scam tactics before I even mentioned my experience and explained how it would have gotten much worse if I did not stop them. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and fast. When you have poop coming out your floor last thing you need is a shady plumber. Jeff even taught me how to properly reinstall my toilet myself to save a few dollars.
We have been in business for 24 years. We have a triple A rating with better business bureau. We we highlighted in “Chicago” magazine for being economical and excellent at what we do. Some people Call a plumber and demand something that ends up not being possible. Some people refuse to pay and then will not even talk with some who is willing to negotiate a favorable payment. Angela Ritter does not tell the whole story. She has stolen our services and refused to reconcile with us after many attempts over several months. We had no choice but to take action. Apparently this is her idea of getting even. To Angela Ritter, If you would call and ask for Jeff Killian he will gladly resolve this issue. He has attempted to call you many times. For anyone else reading Angela’s review we will gladly offer you a 50 dollar coupon off your service call so we can prove to you how wrong she is... Just mention Angela’s name when you call.
