Test Kitchen BBQ

Just moved here from the South…this BBQ is LEGIT!
Had the pork sandwich with hot sauce. Oh my! It rivals the best I’ve had in Texas! And the sandwiches are huge too! My official go to place from now on!

The ribs were smelling incredible I could tell without eating them that somebody knows what barbecue is it's not a sauce it's a method of cooking. But I had to try the catfish... it was incredible so was the fried cabbage and red beans and rice. These people use quality ingredients and respect what real food is.

I’m from Memphis, TN (one of the top spots for barbecue) and I cannot believe I’m saying this, but THIS bbq is incomparable. The best I’ve ever had. The owner/manager guy was a downright angel, making sure we got our cornbread after beginning to drive off the lot. He hooked us up with all the sauces (4 distinct, incredible recipes) My dad called him “God’s gift to Waukegan.” If you’re single and available, I’m on Instagram. Message me. @djskwayerd

Turkey Tips from Test Kitchen/Browns in Waukegan are DELISH!!! They don’t even need sauce! They only have them on Thursdays and they run out quick. They might wanna to rethink the once a week thing. Oan, the Pickled Cucumbers,YUMMY!! I’m hooked!!!😋😋

This place is amazing!! Not only do the have Browns chicken, but the Test Kitchen BBQ knocks it out of the Park!!! I did the rib tips and they were awesome!! the smokey flavor, meaty ribs and four BBQ sauce to choose from. Can't wait till I am back that way so I can try their Pulled Pork, Brisket or slab of ribs....yum!!!
