Waukegan Community-Based Testing Site

It took full 3 hrs to get through (line of waiting cars) including the test.
We started waiting at 11:20 a.m. Saturday morning. Behind our car had been just maybe 30 more cars. The police closed the line so nobody would wait without a chance of being tested. All well organized.

I am in line waiting to be tested but I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s free and people are risking their lives to test us. The facility opens in 20 minutes and this is the line you can expect. I was curious how many people arrive early so I hope this will help others!

My daughter and I were potentially exposed so we went to this testing site on Tuesday the 6th. It took about 20 minutes (we arrived at 3:35) and was easy. Yes getting the swab up your nose was unpleasant, but it did not hurt. We have to fill out a sheet with contact information, but that was it. They did take our insurance info, although the service is free.

We got our results (negative) Thursday the 8th by 9:30am. Given the horror stories about results taking a week in some places, I was very impressed how quickly we got results.
