“What a difference a year can make! Very happy with how Bay Marine has conducted themselves as they continue to grow. Great service department! Had a couple hiccups with them last storage season but they addressed it promptly, professionally and with excellent performance in their service and billing departments. They have taken care of bringing on some new techs (most notably Miguel) who is great at troubleshooting any problems a boat may experience as it continues to age. Recently had some service done in the boat at our harbor in Chicago (yes, they do "house calls" to at your marina) and Miguel made sure everything was in tip top shape and was able to quickly figure out that we had a problem in our steering column. The problem has since been fixed. They offer competitive pricing, and lets all face it, that is key. I believe there is nothing wrong with getting charged reasonably for work to be done. Bay Marine pricing is competitive and their new service department makes me happy. I feel they really have taken care of our boat well. Thanks to the Bay Marine team for their hard work!! Very much appreciated!”

“I have been using Larsen Marine for many years. They handle all types of boats, but they specialize mostly with sail boats. Because they’re so large they are able to hire the best technicians in the area. Because of this, they can work on any part of your boat, from gel-coating, awl-grip, rigging, engines to electrical. It is a place to store your boat inside or outside with pretty good security. Although a friend of mine had some canvas covers stolen from his cradle. Why anyone would take half of a boat cover, I’ll never understand. Larsen’s is probably the best marina in the Midwest. It’s also a place to buy a new or used boat as well.”

I drove around Waukegan for a couple hours browsing all the local car audio shops and this place is the only one who didn't straight up lie to my face about the products they were selling and try to force a buy on me. Jj went as far as to letting me hook up the speakers in my car so I could get the true sound and giving me the option to return it if I wasn't happy with the quality. “I reviewed awhile ago and for some reason it is no longer here. There donuts are amazing! They are always fresh and melt in your mouth. I have not had one that I did not like yet! I am so addicted that I want to sit out front every morning to make sure I get my favorite ones! If you are not there early, they go fast! I am from WI, and we have O & H Bakery out there, and they are one of the best. I have to say, this place has made me change my mind!
