“My son started attending Da Vinci when he was three. He will be in the fifth grade next year. Finding this school was a life-changer for him (and for me.) We were fortunate to begin in the Parent-Child program, which helped me to gradually let go, while allowing him to ease into a school setting over time, at his own pace. It was exactly what we both needed. Though my intention when we began our journey at Da Vinci was to send him there only for preschool, I soon couldn't imagine sending him anywhere else for Kindergarten or grade school. This school is different, in all the right ways. The Preschool/Kindergarten setting is incredibly nurturing, safe, calm, with lots of play, lots of outside time, and a focus on letting a child be a child. In the grades, I love how the children learn by DOING. They don't simply hear or read about things, they roll up their sleeves and they DO it, whether it's go to the farm, perform community service, built a clay oven, build a structure while learning about homes, dig a hole, plant a garden, and so much more. It has been an amazing journey as a parent to see my child blossom into a confident, capable young man in an environment that focuses on freeing him of impediments and blockades to success. You won't find any standardized tests here. You will find lots of music, art of all kinds integrated into every subject, and a set of teachers that meet each child where he is and truly teach him from the inside out. We couldn't be happier!”

“We joined La Petite 2 years ago when our daughters were 2 1/2 and 14 months old. We were leaving an in home daycare provider we adored and they had been with since 3 months old. I was extremely nervous about moving them but Tera made us feel comfortable from the start. I left knowing La Petite was the place for us and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The teachers there clearly love our girls and they love going there. They are now 3 and 4 years old and I am constantly amazed at what they are learning. They both insist on giving hugs to all the teachers before they leave at the end of the day, a true testament to how much they adore the staff. We have had to alter our schedule on occasion, moving from 4 days a week to 5 or switching our day off. Tera is extremely accommodating every time I have a special request. We receive updates throughout the day about what the girls are doing and learning and pictures too! I feel connected to my kids even while I'm at work all day. I highly recommend La Petite Academy!!”

“Like everyone else, I would like to share my review for NBS. Why 4 stars? Because out of the 5 years my son attended NBS, those 4 stars are for his Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th teachers that always supported him, helped him and understood him. Why I didn't choose the 5th star as this year he had the crappiest teacher Ms Kubiak. Very ignorant, even made comments of my son's weight. I heard she was retiring so maybe that this is why she didn't care. Also the Principal, I was expecting more from him but always protecting the teacher. Instead of advocating for my son he was always against him. Oh well he is done with this school and gone to a better B220 school where he can be heard. So this is my public review and freedom of speech.”

“This school is Amazing at the time of this review I am finishing my last year of the school. I had a great time. The students are nice and accepting. The teachers and staff are really caring and try ther hardest to teach and help a student even if it's only for a year. (Shout out to Mrs. Pulver). Also the food is actually good. “I love this school. Everyone is very well behaved and respectful. Teachers teach right. My daughter of 5 years old, Kindergarten. she's learning Spanish fast, reading and writing. She already knows speaking English. But slowly as well she's learning how to write and read English. I enjoy how children greet one another. Very well high and secure over bullying! The teacher and Principal take actions. School buses on time. I hope my daughter graduates from Greenwood till 5th Grade. GOOD JOB Greenwood! I recommend this school for future students and parents. ”
