“My family has been dining at Castelli's Restaurant for over 30 years. This past week we held a 90th birthday celebration for my mom and booked the gathering in the banquet room. The food is always great at this local favorite restaurant, and the overall experience during this banquet celebration was 'off the chart' awesome. Thank you, Lana, and the whole team who made this evening so wonderfully delightful for my mom and her guests. The food was served family style and everything was perfectly set up. What a feast with everyone bragging about how delicious everything was - served hot with enough food to feed an army! We are so grateful for the attention given in providing mom with such a memorable evening. She says she'd like to do it again when she turns 100 so we'll need to book the banquet room for June 19, 2031. In the meantime, we'll be back many times to dine in the main dining room. Thank you.”

“A group of 3 of us stayed here for a night on our way to Virginia. It was a nice room. Decent location. Was close to a Mexican restaurant, store & a McDonald's. The room was super clean. Bathroom was nice & tidy, had plenty of towels. There was a bench window seat bed also in the room. Had a nice desk with a comfy chair. I was happy with the room. Nicer than some rooms I've booked before! They had a huge continental breakfast. Cereal, muffins, bread, scones, cinnamon rolls, other pastries, fresh waffles you could make, biscuits with gravy, oatmeal & more. Was a pleasant stay for all 3 of us.”

“Very thorough, but most importantly, Dr Vest had his staff get approval for MRI before CT was done as no imaging facility could schedule me for weeks in non-emergency. MRI w/x-rays showed multiple ligaments and bone injuries to my hand & wrist. After exam, he concluded that I needed a hand surgeon. My first visit was Wednesday when Dr was in surgery and I was seen by PA. Staff coordination got MRI Friday, Dr. V on Monday & hand surgeon Thursday. Dr. Bodavula, hand surgeon, also impressed with his extensive explanation of treatment options and advantages of being seen so closely to the time of injury which expanded treatment options, thanks to the work of Dr. V, who didn't want me to wait weeks for imaging and his examination. Haven't had a doctor who was so concerned with getting me seen quickly and coordinated with staff to ensure I was seen and treated in a timely manner.”

She took the time to explain a lot of things to me and was very aware of practicing COVID precautions. She was wearing a pink and blue bracelet. “Where else is the owner going to put together a new water shut off stem to fit something from the 1950s and do it on the spot! This guy has stuff that other plumbing supply and hardware stores don’t have. If you need an odd nut or bolt walk in show it too him and he’ll grab you one. You don’t have to walk 10 miles searching through a giant store to get what you need. His prices are fair too! This store is part of what makes Alton special, he does a giant service to his community and places like this are a National treasure, not many left. Go do business at Bo’s hardware and you’ll find out what the good old days were about!”
