Great work from Josh, Shawn, and Tony. Had a water heater and shut-off valves installed and two showers redone. Reasonable price for everything and didn't hesitate to answer all my dumb questions.
Amazing and will use again.
We initially called Tiger to fix an issue and were quoted outrageous amounts but we found a price that fit our needs and got the fix necessary for our water heater situation. A couple of months after our repair we had another issue arise, we called Tiger again and was quoted another outrageous amount, this time we contacted Crafton for a second opinion and wow the difference not only in knowledge but the price quote as well was drastically different. To top it off the lady who answers the phone is a delight.
Crafton has a repeat customer from here on out.
Had a toilet that had been installed by Tiger Plumbing. Must've been the cheapest toilet that existed. Flimsy seat and lid. Constantly getting backed up and was leaking water. Had Tiger send someone out to fix it. After three tries and still no better, I gave up on them. I lived with the problem for a while, but it eventually became worse with the leaking. I had a plumber come by and look, and discovered the tank was cracked.
That plumber said about $486 to replace toilet. Didn't have the cash at the moment. Once I had the cash, I couldn't remember what company I had give that quote, so I had Crafton Plumbing come by and take a look. They fit me in on the same day I called. They replaced it with a much better quality toilet. Reasonably priced at $525. I had somehow broken the shut off valve at the toilet, so that was replaced as well.. They showed up right when they said they would. Professionally done. Courteous. No mess left behind. And, unlike Tiger, didn't try to talk me into purchasing a bunch of other stuff I don't need.
Tony Crafton arrived at the time promised and proceeded to do some routine maintenance items. Thereafter, he installed a water-powered sump pump back-up system that takes the place of my old battery-powered back-up. This was, I believe, a major project as it required the installation of a new sump pump as well as the water back-up system. This project required extensive plumbing in the routing of existing indoor water lines to power the new auxiliary pump.
Tony, was the complete professional doing all work quickly and, I believe, efficiently. When done, Tony left our home just as he had found it with no scraps or debris having been left behind.
I will add this: Tony Crafton is "old school" in that he maintains very high standards for his work. Not only must it function properly but it also must please the eye. New pipes are tucked in and follow the walls or ceiling and do not just "hang out there somewhere."
Finally, let me add this, Crafton Plumbing's prices are quite reasonable and, I find having dealt with the bigger mobile plumbing fleets, the estimated price is the final price. Also, not to be overlooked, Crafton Plumbing has been in business for a long time and has any number of people who can be contacted if potential references are sought.
Really, I do not think that any person needing plumbing work could ask a better plumber into his/her home.
