Cedarhurst of Troy

This a homey open happy place for your loved ones. Pre-COVID, I was lucky to have been able to taste the meals here and they did not disappoint! Hats off to the chef for those delicious cookies. Director Grace was hands on with her people and Director of Nursing Kelsey seems to have a smile on her face with all her interactions. You can’t fake that!

My mother is a current resident of this facility and has been for over 4 years. She began as an independent living resident, but due to her health and age, has now begun needing more assistance with day to day living. The staff is very attentive to her and while she is unable to remember faces and names, she loves each and every care provider. I want to give a shout out to the staff members, Kelsey, Tamika, Jayme, Sami, JoJo, Emily, Karen and Shari that check on her regularly throughout the day and night. Morningside of Troy is also a small pet friendly facility which was one of the reasons that we originally chose to place my mother here. Her cat means the world to her.

Morningside of Troy has been the perfect home for my mother Janet. I just loved the home feel that you get when you walk thru the doors. The staff is always so accommodating...the nurses always went above and beyond to make sure moms care was top notch. Th head nurse Kelsey was always in tune with each residents needs and was always so prompt if their was a problem regarding medication or equipment that was needed for moms care. I would recommend Morningside as a safe place for your loved one. They truly were a lifesaver for our family.

My Grandpa is currently living there. He loves it. The staff is friendly and it is clean. There are always fun activities as well.

Looking for a warm, caring place for a loved one? Look no further. My mother has lived here for 2 years now and we could not be happier. The staff are so helpful and willing to go out of their way to make everyone feel right at home, like family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
