Family Medicine has not only the best Doctors in our area but an amazing supportive staff that go above and beyond. They really do an amazing job at scheduling (even on short notice), calling you back in a timely matter, answering questions, explaining plan information, and just making you feel welcome. My husband, 3 daughters and I have been going here for the last 11 years and have had nothing but great care. We really enjoy the family feel we get here. We have had both of our parents switch to this practice so they feel the Doctor and patient care instead of a number and rushed through their appointments at their other previous practices.It all starts from the moment you walk in. The ladies up front set the tone for this incredible office. Dr. Lessar, his PA Kathy, the nursing staff, and the ladies in the lab are all fantastic with great energy and a genuine desire for your optimal health.

We are new to the area and have been seen by Rose Iverson, a nurse practitioner at this office.
She saw my 13 year old daughter for a check up on some "woman" issues that were bothering my daughter. Not only did she make my daughter's first visit for something of this delicate nature practically anxiety free, she spoke to her and took the time to educate her on many things to look for and pay attention to as a developing young woman. My daughter was both relieved and confident after her appointment and I could not have been happier with Rose's bedside manner and attention!
She also saw my 11 year old son for a case of impetigo and was very thorough and comforting in her examination and discussion of the symptoms and treatment. I felt very satisfied as we left the office and were on our way to pick up his medication.
Recently, I made an appointment personally with Rose for a check up and to have some blood work done. She was very thorough with her questions as we discussed my medical history, and did a great job taking time to advise me on health-related issues of which to be aware at my age, as well as age-appropriate testing, etc... for the near future. I felt like she was a gracious listener and genuinely cared about my concerns.
I could not be happier with the timeliness with which the office staff scheduled all of my appointments, the low wait times in the exam room prior to each appointment, and the overall attentiveness of the staff as a whole. I would recommend this office, in particular Rose Iverson, to anyone. Thank you!
The annual fee thing is one time per year. It makes sense instead of paying all the feed throughout the year for paperwork, etc. This office is very good about refilling prescriptions for me on time and they always do a great job explaining to me exactly what they need to do to make me feel better. Super nice staff, especially while I'm still figuring out my new insurance
