My wife and I visited Regis Regal yesterday, with the intention of researching a future German Shepherd to add to our family.

This was the first kennel we visited and ended up being the only one! My wife and I were so impressed with Cindy, staff and the multiple generations of extremely well tempered German Shepherds.

Our current female German Shepherd is 11 and a half years old. We were not going to add a puppy until she passed. However, with Cindy's knowledge and experience of over 30 years, she was able to give us the confidence to make the addition to our family.

Cindy was very patient and took the time to explain her passion for her Shepherds and the training she offers with the purchase of one of her Shepherds. Within minutes of leaving Regis Regal, my wife and I knew we were going to add to our family with a Regis Regal German Shepherd!

We met with Cindy this evening and she took further time to explain the process. We received a packet to review prior to picking up our puppy in October. Which consisted of everything from A to Z, we will need to purchase. In addition to overviews of training offerrd. We will definitely be taking our Shepherd to Regis Regal for obidence classes on Saturdays! Even though it's a 46 minute trip one way...

We are looking forward to picking up our new family member! I will update the review after we have our pup!

    Update: October 2018

We have an awesome German Shepherd named Xander. He is 3 months old. Clark and Cindy have been very responsive and available to questions we have in the puppy transition period...we haven't raised a German Shepherd puppy in 12 years. So, having Cindy and Clark's knowledge and experience has been a life saver.

The puppy behavorial( puppy biting/socializing) corrections they have trained us to give to Xander have been spot on! Immediate results.

Xander spent the first week of October boarding with Regis Regal and was well taken care of. Xander was able to play with his brother and sister. Very cool. Xander was fully bathed and was with his mother when I picked him up. How awesome is that... seeing him with his mother again!

When boarding with Regis Regal they take care of all boarding needs and you don't even have to bring food...

We look forward to having Xander participate with us in weekend training classes!

Last month, I was approached by a colleague who had purchased a GSD from Cindy about a year ago. My colleague has been taking Cindy up on her weekend canine training sessions since he had obtained his beautiful German Shepherd. After some small talk between the two of them, Cindy expressed that she was interested in giving back to the veteran community, and she had asked him if he had known anyone, he acknowledged that he did and pulled me (United States Army Veteran) aside later that week to pass along the news and ask if I was interested, I of course most certainly was, I’ve always wanted a Shepherd. I went up that following weekend with my colleague to meet Cindy and maybe a future canine companion. As I sat watching her work with her dogs, I couldn’t help but realize just how much she cared about her dogs. Even though the dogs she was working with had already been placed in homes for different amounts of time, she knew how to work with each one of them, she knew their weaknesses and their strengths and she knew how to build them up. My mother rehabilitated wild animals for quite a few years and I couldn’t help but realize that Cindy and my mother had the same personalities when it came to their fur children. I just saw a review on google stating that Cindy was mean, and that she “refused” to let this customer adopt one of her dogs. These are her dogs, she most definitely loves them more than she loves you and she wants to make sure that they are going to be well taken care of. As a business owner she most certainly has the right to refuse service. Anyway, Cindy first introduced me to an 11 month old male, he was beautiful but he was also massive and still had some growing to do. Cindy could sense that I was slightly uncomfortable with his size and he didn’t seem too into me so she asked her kennel hand to retrieve Frankie for me. Frankie was also 11 months old, but smaller being that she was a female. I fell in love with her the minute I saw her. I think Cindy knew right away that we were a great match. After a day of working with Frankie, I think Cindy and I both decided that she would be a great fit for my family and I, but I wanted my girlfriend to meet her. The following weekend, my girlfriend tagged along to meet Frankie. Frankie was just as interested in my girlfriend as she was in me, we brought her home that day. She’s been home with us for about a week and a half now and I couldn’t imagine not having her here with us. She is smart, loyal, and extremely loving. I am grateful for people like Cynthia who are reaching out to the veteran community. Her compassion and generosity alone have put me at ease knowing that she’d be there if I ever had any questions. Overall, it’s been a great experience and I can’t thank her enough.

We just got Tank back from his 5 weeks training. We can't say enough about how excited we are with the outcome. Tank was more calm if I may say. Don't get me wrong, he was still that aggressive alpha male that he was meant to be, but he also came back with the obedience of a well trained soldier. That my friends is what an experienced professional trainer can do.
Cindy did not rush training, she keep us informed throughout the entire process as she promised. This has been a ride of our lives since we welcomed Tank into our family and we are still learning and growing. (along with Tank) :) Oh how we look forward in taking this journey because the outcome can only be sweet.
Much love and respect. Craig and Theresa Jones

My dog Finn has been an incredible addition to my life. He is amazingly smart, empathetic, sweet and everything you could possibly hope for in a german shepherd (not to mention, he's gorgeous!). Since I met Cindy Kelly, she has been nothing but kind, supportive, and understanding. Explaining everything I needed to know about buying a new puppy. I am so so thankful to her and her family for their friendship and for introducing me to my best friend!!
